A DIY solar roof is a simple, fun way to get a little bit more energy out of your roof without spending a fortune.
Solar roofing is so simple, it’s almost an art form.
So why not make one for yourself?
Here’s how you can make one in under 30 minutes.
First, grab some fabric, some tape, and a pair of scissors.
Cut the roof tape so it’s flat on the roof, and then you’ll need to cut the fabric around the fabric to fit the roof.
To cut the roof piece, first fold the fabric under and then flip it over.
Now, you’ll want to make a mark where the fabric folds back and the roof folds in.
You can also cut a mark for the corner of the roof so you can cut the tape around the edges.
Once you have a perfect cut, you’re done!
Cut out the edges of the fabric you just cut, and you’re ready to begin!
You’ll want the tape to be wide enough to go around the roof and you’ll also want the corners of the tape cut to fit snugly.
If you have tape that’s wider, you might want to adjust it so it fits snugly on the corners.
After you’ve cut the pieces out, tape the roof pieces to the fabric, and tape the corners together.
Repeat this process for the rest of the pieces.
It should look something like this.
